PumpOmat®, TURPAK’s forecourt automation system’s main principle is the connection and control of all dispensers to an interface unit which is connected to the forecourt controller computer resulting in the controlling of these dispensers by the software installed on the computer. All fueling operations on the dispensers are reported, controlled and recorded by the controller computer, resulting in control of all the transactions in the forecourt. Customers can monitor on-line their vehicle’s fueling operation with the customer screen placed in the station c-store. In this way the customer is able to track fueling without waiting next to the vehicle. PumpOmat® has also the ability to detect local customer / station attendants. The tag readers installed to the dispensers, identifiy and approve the tags given to the local customer / station attendant, so that system gives authorization to the dispenser for fueling. After the refueling, the owner of the fueling operation (dispenser attendant or the local customer with key-chain) is also mentioned in the sale records.
