Production & Planning

All Turpak system installations at stations are managed and coordinated by the production and planning department. Turpak installation tasks are outsourced to specialized companies under subcontract arrangements. Surveillance checks and audits in subcontractors (for Quality and HSE) and related trainings are handled by chief installers at service of the department. Once all installation work is complete, they are supervised by the chiefs and if found compliant with related requirements, approved by the same and delivered to the system end users. In summary, production and planning operations follow the below procedures:

Survey: A technical exploration is made in fairly comprehensive detail at stations, depending on the type of system to be installed. At the end of this exploration an exploration survey form prepared for the automation system in concern is completed and conveyed to Turpak's head office, for further processing. All exploration survey forms are then put in archival record both in printed hard copies and in digital copies.

Planning: Planning primarily examines the exploration documents. It provides information on materials that need to be shipped to aid on site installations, the coordination of team to perform the installation and any external companies to whom the installations would be outsourced. In the meanwhile, it conveys and makes sure the eventual elimination of any external conditions which would hinder or impede installation of automation systems, if there exist any. Once after all preparatory work is complete, it arranges for the shipping of materials to the receiving stations, coordinating teams. Before the teams actually arrive at the stations, customers are properly informed and all preparatory work that need to be done at their premises are completed.

Installation: Turpak installer teams make all necessary site arrangements before the installation efforts are initiated at stations. The most fundamental guidance here is the Turpak's OHSE rules. All installation procedures have to be performed in compliance with health, safety and environment rules. the installation procedures are finalized according to the installation procedure prepared depending on the type of system to be installed. All station officials are given training instructions on both technical and operational aspects of the system. Installation procedures completed and having passed quality inspections are submitted to station's head official for approval. Forms relating to the installation procedure are properly filled in and sent to Turpak Head office.

Processing: Following installation, all installation manuals, training and quality control documents that were prepared are gathered in the head office and inserted in folders opened for the installation task at hand, prior to initiation of installation efforts. All installation procedures have a separate folder in which information on all actions taken and tasks performed at the relevant stations are stored, which fact facilitates for retrospective reviews of past service realizations at any time in future. Furthermore, installation data are entered on computers through a special software application for storage thereafter in an advanced system database so as to cover all stations and systems installed. Afterwards, special and periodic reports are generated to oil companies, using these data.
